Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. This is a critical role in our organization, as it directly impacts the satisfaction of our customers.

Required Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing

-Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System

-Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

-Ability to manage multiple tasks at once

-Proven leadership ability

-Strong interpersonal skills

-Good judgment and ability to make decisions in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies
– Oversee all aspects of the quality control process, including quality inspections, testing, and documentation
– Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement preventative measures and develop control plans such as inspections, first articles and process validation
– Manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
-Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality requirements

-Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions as necessary

-Ensure timely scheduling of raw material inspection, product inspection, auditing, and data collection.

Experience:

– Proven experience in quality control management within a manufacturing or production environment
– Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, quality systems, and best practices
– Experience in fabricating products according to specifications and industry standards
– Proficient in conducting quality inspections and utilizing various testing methods
– Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement

-Familiarity with implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality system

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
